To celebrate the International Girl Child day, I joined Polycom Girls for the launch of the Comic book on Mentrual Health for #MYPREIODT! campaign by Abigael Arunga.
Access to information remains the biggest hindrance to ensuring our adolescent boys and girls are able flourish in their adolescent stage. There is need for us to come up with policies that will remove control of information around menstrual and adolescent sexual reproductive health and rights from the state and other gatekeepers and make it readily available for our adolescents.
The Adolescent health and menstrual health agenda is vital for the well being of society and all stakeholders must be commited to removing politics and all kind replace them with sound policies that will ensure every child, every girl has access to information, resources, facilities and services that will ensure wholesome growth.
